حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَنَحْوِهِمَا قَالَ عَفَّانُ وَنَحْوِهِمَا مِنَ السُّوَرِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the noon and afternoon prayers "By the sky with constellations" and "By the sky and the night comer" and the like of them. 'Affan said: and the like of them among the suras.
