✧ Abu Bakr said when he sent me to Syria: O Yazid, you have relatives whom you may favor with leadership, and that is the greatest thing I fear for you. For the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever is given authority over any affair of the Muslims and appoints someone over them out of favoritism, upon him is the curse of Allah. Allah will not accept from him any exchange nor justice until He admits him into Hell. And whoever gives someone the protection of Allah, he has violated something in Allah's protection without its right, upon him is the curse of Allah (or he said: the protection of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, is released from him).
