حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى ابْنِ الدَّحْدَاحِ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ أَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِفَرَسٍ عُرْيٍ فَعَقَلَهُ رَجُلٌ فَرَكِبَهُ فَجَعَلَ يَتَوَقَّصُ بِهِ وَنَحْنُ نَتَّبِعُهُ نَسْعَى خَلْفَهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ كَمْ مِنْ عِذْقٍ مُعَلَّقٍ أَوْ مُدَلًّى فِي الْجَنَّةِ لِابْنِ الدَّحْدَاحِ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ رَجُلٌ مَعَنَا عِنْدَ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَمْ مِنْ عِذْقٍ مُدَلًّى لِأَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed over Ibn al-Dahdah—Hajjaj said: Abu al-Dahdah—then a bareback horse was brought, a man hobbled it, and he mounted it. It began to prance with him, and we followed him, hastening behind him. A man from the people said: The Prophet ﷺ said: How many hanging clusters—or suspended—in Paradise are for Ibn al-Dahdah. Hajjaj said in his hadith: A man with us said in the presence of Jabir b. Samura in the gathering: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: How many suspended clusters in Paradise are for Abu al-Dahdah.
