حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

كُنَّا إِذَا جِئْنَا إِلَيْهِ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَلَسَ أَحَدُنَا حَيْثُ يَنْتَهِي

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Aswad b. ʿĀmir
  2. Sharīk
  3. Simāk
  4. Jābir b. Samurah

✧ When we came to him – meaning the Prophet ﷺ – one of us would sit wherever he ended up.
