حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ: كَيْفَ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: كَانَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْعُدُ قَعْدَةً ثُمَّ يَقُومُ

✧ I asked Jabir b. Samura: “How did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ deliver the sermon?” He said: “He used to deliver the sermon standing, except that he would sit once and then stand.”
