Translation

✧ When we prayed behind the Messenger of God ﷺ, we would say: 'Peace be upon you' with our hands, to the right and to the left. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'What is the matter with people who throw their hands as if they were the tails of restive horses? Let one of you keep still and point with his hand on his thigh, then greet his companion on his right and on his left.'
