✧ A man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ was appointed over Sijistan, and a man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ met him and said: 'Do you remember the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he appointed a man over an army, and there was a fire that had been kindled, and he said to one of his companions: 'Get up and leap over it'? So he got up and leaped over it. That reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: 'Had he fallen into it, they would both have entered the Fire. There is no obedience in disobedience to Allah [Blessed and Exalted is He]. I only wanted to remind you of this.'
