✧ A Man from the Desert

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّهُ حَجَّ مَعَ ذِي قَرَابَةٍ لَهُ مُقْتَرِنًا بِهِ فَرَآهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّهُ نَذْرٌ. فَأَمَرَ بِالْقِرَانِ أَنْ يُقْطَعَ

Translation

✧ He performed Hajj with a relative of his who was bound to him by a rope, and the Prophet ﷺ saw him and said: What is this? He said: It is a vow. So he ordered the rope to be cut.
