حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي نَعَامَةَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مُغَفَّلٍ

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْقَصْرَ الْأَبْيَضَ عَنْ يَمِينِ الْجَنَّةِ إِذَا دَخَلْتُهَا. فَقَالَ: يَا بُنَيَّ، سَلِ اللهَ [تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى] الْجَنَّةَ وَعُذْ بِهِ مِنَ النَّارِ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: يَكُونُ قَوْمٌ يَعْتَدُونَ فِي الدُّعَاءِ وَالطَّهُورِ

He said: 'My son, ask God [Blessed and Exalted] for Paradise, and seek refuge in Him from the Fire, for I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "There will be a people who transgress in supplication and purification."'
