✧ Muhammad son of Al-Adra sent me on a mission. As I was leaving the city through one of its roads, he came across me and I accompanied him until we reached Uhud. He then faced the city and said, "Woe to its mother! On the day its people leave it." I asked, "O Prophet of Allah, who will eat its fruits?" He replied, "The birds and the wild animals." He said, "The Dajjal (Antichrist) will never enter it. Every time he tries to enter, he will be met by an angel armed with a spear, who will prevent him." Then we proceeded until we reached the door of the mosque. He said, "Do you testify to what you say?" I asked, "O Prophet of Allah, this is so-and-so, one of the best or one of the most frequent in prayer among the people of Madinah." He replied, "Do not mention him, lest you destroy him two or three times. You are a nation for whom ease is intended."
