✧ My Handsome Father, About His Father

حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الضَّبِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْبَرِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مَلِيحِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

أَصَابَ النَّاسَ فِي يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ يَعْنِي: مَطَرًا، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَنُودِيَ: أَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ الْيَوْمَ - أَوِ الْجُمُعَةَ الْيَوْمَ - فِي الرِّحَالِ

✧ People were caught by rain on a Friday, so the Prophet ﷺ gave the order and it was announced: "The prayer today — or the Friday prayer today — is in the dwellings."
