✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he called a cupper and ordered him to cup him. He brought out cupping instruments for him made of horns, applied them to him, and made an incision with the tip of a blade. He poured the blood into a vessel that was with him. A man from Banu Fazarah entered upon him and said, "What is this, O Messenger of Allah? Why do you let this man cut your skin?" He said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "This is cupping." He said, "And what is cupping?" He said, "It is among the best things with which people treat themselves."
