حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِذَا سُرِقَ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ مَتَاعٌ، أَوْ ضَاعَ لَهُ مَتَاعٌ، فَوَجَدَهُ بِيَدِ رَجُلٍ بِعَيْنِهِ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ، وَيَرْجِعُ الْمُشْتَرِي عَلَى الْبَائِعِ بِالثَّمَنِ

✧ When a man's goods are stolen, or his goods are lost, and he finds them in the possession of a specific man, he is more entitled to them, and the buyer returns to the seller for the price.
