حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ
كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ سَكْتَتَانِ فِي صَلَاتِهِ، وَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ: أَنَا مَا أَحْفَظُهُمَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَكَتَبُوا فِي ذَلِكَ إِلَى أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ يَسْأَلُونَهُ عَنْهُ، فَكَتَبَ أُبَيٌّ: أَنَّ سَمُرَةَ قَدْ حَفِظَ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ had two pauses in his prayer. ʿImrān b. Ḥuṣayn said: 'I do not remember them from the Messenger of God ﷺ,' so they wrote to Ubayy b. Kaʿb asking him about it, and Ubayy wrote back: 'Samura has indeed remembered.'
