Sinan said, "I was born on the day of Hunayn, and my father was given the good news of my birth. They said to him, 'A boy has been born to you.' He said, 'An arrow I shoot on behalf of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is more beloved to me than what you have announced to me,' and he named me Sinan."
