What scholars said about it

In their own words, as Hadith Unlocked records them. They are shown, not summarised into a grade.

  • Bazzār

    in مسند أحمد, p. 20161
  • Abū Ḥatim al-Rāzī

machine translationShuʿbah is the most retentive (aḥfaẓ) of them, and there is no significance to what Ibn al-Aṣbahānī narrated in mentioning Anas, because the memorizers (ḥuffāẓ) transmit it as a mursal report from the ḥadīth of Sharīk, unless this was from Sharīk himself, because Ibn al-Aṣbahānī was meticulous (mutqin).

    in مسند أحمد, p. 20161
  • Dāraquṭnī

    in مسند أحمد, p. 20161
