حَدَّثَنَا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ وَفَاةُ النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ: إِنَّ أَخَاكُمُ النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ، فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَالنَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ
Translation

✧ When news of the death of the Negus reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: 'Your brother the Negus has died, so pray over him.' He stood and prayed over him with the people behind him.
