حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ فِي مَسِيرٍ، فَعَرَّسُوا فَنَامُوا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، فَلَمْ يَسْتَيْقِظُوا حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَلَمَّا ارْتَفَعَتْ وَانْبَسَطَتْ أَمَرَ إِنْسَانًا فَأَذَّنَ فَصَلَّوُا الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ، فَلَمَّا حَانَتِ الصَّلَاةُ صَلَّوْا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey, and they camped at night and slept through the dawn prayer, not waking until the sun had risen. When it had risen high and spread its light, he ordered a man to give the call to prayer, and they prayed the two rak'ahs [before dawn]. When the time for the prayer came, they prayed.
