✧ A Muslim woman was taken captive by the enemy, and they had previously captured a she-camel belonging to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She noticed a moment of negligence among the people, so she rode the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then made a vow to slaughter it. She arrived in Madinah and wanted to slaughter the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but she was prevented from doing so. This was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: "What a bad way you have repaid it." Then he said: "No vow is binding on a son of Adam regarding what he does not own, nor regarding disobedience to Allah, [Blessed and Exalted be He]."
