حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَ قَالَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ
تَمَتَّعْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَأُنْزِلَ فِيهَا الْقُرْآنُ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: وَنَزَلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ، فَمَاتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنْهَا، وَلَمْ يَنْسَخْهَا شَيْءٌ، قَالَ رَجُلٌ بِرَأْيِهِ مَا شَاءَ
Translation

✧ We performed tamattuʿ with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Qurʾān was revealed concerning it. ʿAffān said: And the Qurʾān was revealed about it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ died and did not prohibit it, and nothing abrogated it. A man spoke according to his own opinion as he wished.
