✧ We came to the Messenger of God ﷺ asking him to mount us, and he said: No, by God, I will not mount you. When we returned, the Messenger of God ﷺ sent to us three she-camels with white patches on their humps. He said: I said: The Messenger of God ﷺ swore not to mount us, then he mounted us. So we came to him and said: O Messenger of God, you swore not to mount us, but you mounted us. He said: I did not mount you; rather God mounted you. By God, I do not swear an oath and then see something else better than it without doing that.
