✧ Abu Musa wrote to Ibn 'Abbas: You are a man of your time. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Among the Children of Israel, if one of them was afflicted by something from urine, he would cut it off with scissors. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by soft ground — meaning a soft place — and urinated there, and said: When one of you urinates, let him seek a soft place for his urine.
