✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us our prayer and our Sunnah. He said: 'The Imam is only to be followed. So when he says the takbīr, say the takbīr; and when he says: "not of those who earned wrath nor of those who went astray," say: "Āmīn," and Allah, Exalted be He, will answer you. When he bows, bow; when he rises, rise; when he says: "Allah hears the one who praises Him," say: "O Allah, our Lord, to You is praise," and Allah will hear you. When he prostrates, prostrate; when he rises, rise, for the Imam prostrates before you and rises before you.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'That is for that.'
