✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ asked him to recite poetry of Umayyah b. Abī al-Ṣalt. He said, "I recited a hundred rhymes to him, and I did not recite anything to him except that he said, 'More! More!' until when I had exhausted the hundred rhymes, he said, 'He was almost a Muslim.'"
