✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey, and he said to a man: Dismount and mix [a drink] for us. Sufyan said once: for me. He said: O Messenger of Allah, the sun [is still up]. He said: Dismount and mix for us. And Sufyan said once: for me. He said: O Messenger of Allah, the sun [is still up]. He said: Dismount and mix. So he mixed, and he drank. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ drank, he gestured with his hand toward the night: When you see that the night has approached from here, the fasting person has broken his fast.
