حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ شَبِيبٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْحَيَّ يُخْبِرُونَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ مَعَهُ بِدِينَارٍ يَشْتَرِي لَهُ أُضْحِيَّةً، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: أَوْ شَاةً فَاشْتَرَى لَهُ اثْنَتَيْنِ، فَبَاعَ وَاحِدَةً بِدِينَارٍ، وَأَتَاهُ بِالْأُخْرَى فَدَعَا لَهُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ فِي بَيْعِهِ فَكَانَ لَوِ اشْتَرَى التُّرَابَ لَرَبِحَ فِيهِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ sent with him a dinar to buy a sacrificial animal for him—or he said once: a sheep. He bought two for him, sold one for a dinar, and brought him the other. He prayed for blessing in his trade, and thereafter, even if he had bought dust, he would have profited from it.
