حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ بَهْزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ حَدَّثَنِي حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمِنْهَالِ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي كِنَانَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ الْبَرَاءَ عَنِ الصَّرْفِ؟ فَقَالَ سَلْ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ فَإِنَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي وَأَعْلَمُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ زَيْدًا فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
Translation

✧ I heard Abū al-Minhāl, a man from Banū Kinānah, say: I asked al-Barāʾ about currency exchange, and he said: Ask Zayd b. Arqam, for he is better than me and more knowledgeable. He said: I asked Zayd, and he mentioned the ḥadīth.
