حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ قَالَ
قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، اشْتَرِطْ عَلَيَّ، فَقَالَ: تَعْبُدُ اللهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا، وَتُصَلِّي الصَّلَاةَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ، وَتُؤَدِّي الزَّكَاةَ الْمَفْرُوضَةَ، وَتَنْصَحُ لِلْمُسْلِمِ، وَتَبْرَأُ مِنَ الْكَافِرِ

✧ I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, stipulate conditions upon me.' He said, 'That you worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, perform the obligatory prayers, give the prescribed zakāh, give sincere counsel to the Muslim, and disavow the disbeliever.'
