حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُرَقِّعُ بْنُ صَيْفِيٍّ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي رَبَاحُ بْنُ رُبَيِّعٍ أَخِي حَنْظَلَةَ الْكَاتِبِ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزَاةٍ عَلَى مُقَدِّمَتِهِ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، فَذَكَرَ رَبَاحًا وَأَصْلَهُ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
Translation

✧ My grandfather Rabāḥ b. Rubayyi', the brother of Ḥanẓalah the scribe, told me that he went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a military expedition, with Khālid b. al-Walīd at the head of his vanguard. He mentioned Rabāḥ and his origin, and then he mentioned the hadith.
