حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ
] أُخْبِرْتُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُرَقِّعُ بْنُ صَيْفِيٍّ التَّمِيمِيُّ شَهِدَ عَلَى جَدِّهِ رَبَاحِ بْنِ رُبَيِّعٍ الْحَنْظَلِيِّ الْكَاتِبِ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ: أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ
Translation

✧ I was informed from Abū al-Zinād: Muraqqi' b. Ṣayfī al-Tamīmī narrated to me, who testified concerning his grandfather Rabāḥ b. Rubayyi' al-Ḥanẓalī the scribe, that he informed him: that he went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he mentioned the like of the hadith of Ibn Abī al-Zinād.

machine translationThis hadith was narrated by al-Nasāʾī from ʿUmar b. Muraqqiʿ b. Ṣayfī b. Rabāḥ b. al-Rabīʿ, who said: I heard my father narrating from his grandfather Rabāḥ b. Rabīʿ. He also narrated it from al-Mughīrah, from Abū al-Zinād, from al-Muraqqiʿ, from his grandfather Rabāḥ; and from Sufyān al-Thawrī, from Abū al-Zinād, from al-Muraqqiʿ, from Ḥanẓalah the scribe. He said: It is said that the hadith of Sufyān from Abū al-Zinād is an error (wahm).
