✧ Rāfiʿ b. Rifāʿah came to the gathering of the Anṣār and said: The Prophet of God ﷺ forbade us today something that was lenient for us in our livelihoods. He said: He forbade us from renting land. He said: Whoever has land, let him cultivate it, or let his brother cultivate it, or leave it. He forbade us from the earnings of a cupper, and commanded us to feed it to our watering camels. He forbade us from the earnings of a slave woman except what she earns with her own hands, and he said thus with his fingers, such as baking, spinning, and carding.
