✧ al-Masoor bin Makhrama al-Zuhri, and Marwan bin al-Hakam

حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ

أَنَّ سُبَيْعَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةَ تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ، فَلَمْ تَمْكُثْ إِلَّا لَيَالِيَ حَتَّى وَضَعَتْ، فَلَمَّا تَعَلَّتْ مِنْ نِفَاسِهَا خُطِبَتْ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي النِّكَاحِ فَأَذِنَ لَهَا أَنْ تَنْكِحَ، فَنَكَحَتْ

Translation

✧ Subay'a al-Aslamiyya's husband died while she was pregnant. She did not wait but a few nights until she gave birth. When she was purified from her postpartum bleeding, she was proposed to. She asked the Prophet ﷺ for permission to marry, and he permitted her to marry, so she married.
