✧ My father, Juhayfah.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَوْنٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ فِي حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ، فَرَكَزَ عَنَزَةً، فَجَعَلَ يُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا بِالْبَطْحَاءِ، يَمُرُّ مِنْ وَرَائِهَا الْكَلْبُ وَالْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ went out wearing a red ḥulla, fixed a short spear in the ground, and prayed toward it at al-Baṭḥāʾ. Dogs, donkeys, and women would pass beyond it.
