✧ My father, Juhayfah.

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

أَنَّهُ صَلَّى بِالْبَطْحَاءِ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةٌ، الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَالْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، يَمُرُّ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ الْمَرْأَةُ وَالْحِمَارُ

Translation

✧ He prayed at al-Baṭḥāʾ with a short spear in front of him: the noon prayer as two rakʿahs and the afternoon prayer as two rakʿahs. Women and donkeys would pass beyond it.
