حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ ضِرْغَامَةَ بْنِ عُلَيْبَةَ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:
أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَوْصِنِي، قَالَ: اتَّقِ اللهَ، وَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي مَجْلِسِ فَقُمْتَ مِنْهُ فَسَمِعْتَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا يُعْجِبُكَ فَأْتِهِ، وَإِذَا سَمِعْتَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا تَكْرَهُ فَاتْرُكْهُ
Translation

✧ I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, advise me." He said: "Fear Allah. When you are in a gathering and you rise from it, if you hear them saying what pleases you, then go to it; and if you hear them saying what you dislike, then leave it."
