al-Bara b. Azib

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ. أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

كَانَ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى تَحْتَ خَدِّهِ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ وَيَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ

Translation

✧ He would place his right hand under his cheek when he slept and say: 'O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the day You resurrect Your servants.'
