✧ No one should slaughter before praying. My maternal uncle stood up to him and said, 'O Messenger of God, this is a day on which meat is abundant'—Ibn Abi Adi said: 'disliked'—'and I slaughtered my sacrifice earlier so that my family and neighbors could eat. I have a milk-fed kid that is better than two meat sheep. Should I slaughter it?' He said, 'Yes, and a jadha'ah will not suffice for anyone after you, and it is the better of your two sacrifices.'
