حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَكَتَبَ بِهِ إِلَيَّ قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْثَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ بُرْدٍ أَخِي يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
مَنْ تَبِعَ جِنَازَةً حَتَّى يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ قِيرَاطٌ، وَمَنْ مَشَى مَعَ الْجِنَازَةِ حَتَّى تُدْفَنَ - وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: حَتَّى يُدْفَنَ - كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ قِيرَاطَانِ، وَالْقِيرَاطُ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ

✧ Whoever follows a funeral until the prayer is offered over it has a qirat of reward, and whoever walks with the funeral until it is buried—and once he said: until he is buried—has two qirats of reward, and a qirat is like Uhud.
