حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا أَشْعَثُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ
مَرَّ بِي عَمِّي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، وَمَعَهُ لِوَاءٌ قَدْ عَقَدَهُ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: أَيْ عَمِّ، أَيْنَ بَعَثَكَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: بَعَثَنِي إِلَى رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ، فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ
Translation

✧ My uncle al-Hārith b. ʿAmr passed by me carrying a banner that the Prophet ﷺ had tied for him. I said to him: 'Dear uncle, where has the Prophet ﷺ sent you?' He said: 'He sent me to a man who married his father's wife, and he ordered me to strike his neck.'
