✧ al-Nu'man bin Bashir on the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ قَالَ خَيْثَمَةُ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

الْمُؤْمِنُونَ كَرَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ إِذَا اشْتَكَى رَأْسُهُ اشْتَكَى كُلُّهُ، وَإِنِ اشْتَكَى عَيْنُهُ اشْتَكَى كُلُّهُ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. al-Aʿmash
  3. Khaythamah
  4. al-Nuʿmān b. Bashīr
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The believers are like a single man: if his head complains, all of him complains; and if his eye complains, all of him complains.
