حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْجُوَيْرِيَةِ عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ السُّلَمِيِّ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ

بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَا وَأَبِي وَجَدِّي، وَخَاصَمْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَأَفْلَجَنِي وَخَطَبَ عَلَيَّ فَأَنْكَحَنِي

Translation

✧ I gave allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I, my father, and my grandfather. I brought a dispute to him and he ruled in my favor, and he proposed on my behalf and married me off.
