حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحِلِّ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا فَبِكَلِمَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ: فَبِكَلِمَةٍ

✧ The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ, said: "Beware of the fire (of Hell) even if it is only by donating half a date. If you cannot find anything, then with a good word." Ibn Ja'far also said: "With a word."
