حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَتِمَّ قَائِمًا فَلْيَجْلِسْ وَإِذَا اسْتَتَمَّ قَائِمًا فَلَا يَجْلِسْ وَيَسْجُدُ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you stands up and has not fully stood up, let him sit down; but if he has fully stood up, let him not sit down, and he should prostrate two prostrations of forgetfulness."
