Musnad Ahmad 18046

Translation

✧ Abdullah b. Hisham, who had met the Prophet ﷺ, and his mother Zaynab bt. Humayd took him to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and she said: “O Messenger of God, accept his pledge.” The Prophet ﷺ said: “He is young,” and he wiped his head and prayed for him. He used to sacrifice a single sheep on behalf of his entire family.
