✧ During the expedition of Tabuk, people rushed to the people of al-Hijr, entering upon them. This reached the Messenger of God ﷺ, so he called out among the people: "Prayer in congregation!" He said: I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ while he was holding his camel, and he was saying: "Will you enter upon a people with whom God is angry?" A man among them called out to him: "We are amazed by them, O Messenger of God." He said: "Shall I not tell you of something more amazing than that? A man from among yourselves who tells you what was before you and what will be after you. So be upright and aim well, for God [Mighty and Majestic] pays no heed to your punishment at all, and a people will come who cannot defend themselves in anything."
