✧ We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the expedition to Tabuk, and with us was a companion of ours. He and a Muslim man fought, and that man bit his forearm. He pulled his hand from his mouth and knocked out his front tooth. The man went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asking him for blood money. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “One of you goes to his brother and bites him as a stallion bites, then comes seeking blood money?! You have no compensation.” He said: So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ nullified it, meaning he invalidated it.
