✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped at my father's place. He said: We brought him food and fresh dates, and he ate from them. Then he was brought dried dates, and he would eat them and toss the pits with his two fingers, joining the index and middle fingers—Shu'bah said: "That is my conjecture, and it is in it if Allah wills"—then he was brought a drink and he drank it, then he handed it to the one on his right. He said: My father said, while taking hold of his mount's bridle: "Supplicate to Allah for us." He said: "O Allah, bless them in what You have provided them, forgive them, and have mercy on them."
