حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَزَلَ، فَذَكَرُوا رُطَبَةً وَطَعَامًا وَشَرَابًا، فَكَانَ يَأْكُلُ التَّمْرَ، وَيَضَعُ النَّوَى عَلَى ظَهْرِ إِصْبَعَيْهِ، ثُمَّ يَرْمِي بِهِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَرَكِبَ بَغْلَةً لَهُ بَيْضَاءَ، فَأَخَذْتُ بِلِجَامِهَا، فَقُلْتُ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، ادْعُ اللهَ لَنَا، فَقَالَ: « اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ، وَارْحَمْهُمْ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped, and they mentioned fresh dates, food, and drink. He was eating dates, placing the pits on the back of his two fingers, then throwing them away. Then he stood and mounted a white mule of his. I took hold of its bridle and said: “O Prophet of Allah, supplicate to Allah for us.” He said: “O Allah, bless them in what You have provided them, forgive them, and have mercy on them.”
