حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ السَّدُوسِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي رِمْثَةَ التَّمِيمِيِّ قَالَ
خَرَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي حَتَّى أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَرَأَيْتُ بِرَأْسِهِ رَدْعَ حِنَّاءٍ، وَرَأَيْتُ عَلَى كَتِفِهِ مِثْلَ التُّفَّاحَةِ، قَالَ أَبِي: إِنِّي طَبِيبٌ أَلَا أَبُطُّهَا لَكَ؟ قَالَ: « طَبِيبُهَا الَّذِي خَلَقَهَا » قَالَ: وَقَالَ لِأَبِي: « هَذَا ابْنُكَ؟ » قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: « أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَا يَجْنِي عَلَيْكَ، وَلَا تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ

✧ I went out with my father until we came to the Messenger of God ﷺ. I saw on his head a trace of henna, and I saw on his shoulder something like an apple. My father said: I am a physician; shall I lance it for you? He said: "Its physician is the One who created it." He said: And he said to my father: "Is this your son?" He said: Yes. He said: "Indeed, he will not commit an offense against you, nor will you commit an offense against him."
