✧ No man dies, when he dies, with in his heart an atom's weight of pride, that Paradise becomes lawful for him to smell its fragrance or to see it. A man from Quraysh called Abu Rayhana said: 'O Messenger of God, by God, I love beauty and desire it, so much so that I love it in the thong of my whip and in the strap of my sandal.' The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'That is not pride. God, Mighty and Majestic, is beautiful and loves beauty. Pride is to reject the truth and to belittle people with one's eyes.'
